It is with deep respect and acknowledgement this practice takes place on unceded Australian land of the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners. I acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and their communities play in affirming and embedding the continuance of culture in our learning and working environments.
I pay my respect to the Jaggera and Turbul owners of the land at Queensland University of Technology, which is and always will be Aboriginal land.

Myth connects ego consciousness and transcendent Other. Drafting and reticulation skills were passed down to me by both my mother and father, going back to the drawing board was necessary post covid lockdowns. In the use of skills employed for both sewing and painting to position the larger than life pomegranate seeds at each of the grid’s intersections, imperfections integral to the work are revealed.
